A native of southwest Virginia, Sarah began with Talent Search in May, 2002. She joined the program after working as Academic and Career Coordinator with Upward Bound at Roanoke College. While living in Oklahoma, Sarah worked in a variety of positions at Oklahoma State University, including two years in the Financial Aid Office. As a Talent Search Counselor, she will be serving students from Bassett High School, E.C. Glass, Eastern Montgomery High School, Franklin County High School, Grayson County High School, Linkhorne Middle School, Magna Vista High School, Martinsville High School, Pulaski County High School, and Shawsville Middle School.

Sarah's hobbies include a variety of outdoor activities, gardening, traveling with her husband (Brad), volunteering, and church work. She is the proud mother of twin daughters, Emma and Paige.  She also has two dogs that think they are her children, Sabre and Natasha.
