UPWARD BOUND AND TALENT SEARCH SENIORS AWARDED VIRGINIA TRIO SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year the Virginia Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel holds a competition for scholarships for each TRiO program represented. Each program is allowed to nominate one student for the statewide competition. In 2008, the Virginia Tech Talent Search and Upward Bound programs both had recipients of the scholarships.
